Mr. Arlo Johnson
Welcome to CHOICE Academy!
I am the Interim School Counselor at CHOICE and I am looking forward to supporting students while Mr. Pilawski is on leave. I got my Master’s in school counseling from University of Puget Sound (UPS) where I also got my BA in Psychology. My focus at UPS was on secondary education and before that I worked in high school and post-high school special education. I am here to support students on everything from tough 6th grade transitions to college preparation and applications. Feel free to drop in or reach out. I am looking forward to meeting each of you!

I am extremely excited to be a part of CHOICE Academy and honored to be your Counselor!
I grew up in Seattle, have traveled the world some, but I know there is so much more to explore. I attended Western Michigan University (Go Broncos!) in Kalamazoo, Michigan where I received a Bachelor's of Arts in Sports Broadcasting as well as Sociology, and recently received a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. I am excited to get to know you and please stop by with questions or to say hello!
