Synergy Mail, a messaging system connected to ParentVUE, will be retired after December 2024. Starting January 2025, all family communication will take place through ParentSquare.
What is ParentSquare?
ParentSquare is our family engagement and communication tool designed to keep families informed and encourage engagement and connection across Highline. ParentSquare provides a safe way for families and students to:
- Send and receive all district, school and classroom communication via email, text or app notification
- Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6:00 p.m.
- Communicate in your preferred language
- Share and view pictures and files, see calendar items and RSVP for events
- View notifications from all your children’s schools in one location.
Do Families Need to Download the App?
No, you don’t need the ParentSquare app to stay connected! Families automatically receive emails when a post or message is shared on ParentSquare. Families can download the ParentSquare app to customize notifications and get updates via text or app alerts.
Getting Started with ParentSquare
Watch this Getting Started Video to learn more about ParentSquare. You can also visit this webpage with resources. When logged into ParentSquare, the Help & Support question mark in the top right corner can help answer most of your questions.
You can self-register by visiting the ParentSquare website or downloading the free mobile app in Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Under the Register heading, insert the email and primary phone number on file at your child’s school. Follow the prompts to activate your account.
