Learning Spaces Designed to Prepare Students for the Future
Highline’s November 3, 2026, school construction bond and technology levy would fund facility and technology needs for students across Highline.
The school construction bond would build learning spaces designed to prepare students for the future. The bond would fund new classrooms and flexible learning spaces in middle schools for career and technical education (CTE), Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) learning, and hands-on instruction.
- Create new middle school learning spaces
- Expand opportunities for career and technical education and STEM learning
- Build classroom space for hands-on, project-based instruction
- Provide classroom spaces for programs connected to college and career pathways
If approved, the bond package would:
- Replace Sylvester and Cascade middle schools
- Complete a partial rebuild and major renovation at Chinook Middle School
- Rebuild the Southern Heights site to serve CHOICE Academy
- Provide funding to design a new Hilltop Elementary and Valley View Early Learning Center
- Address critical needs such as roof replacements and new HVAC systems at schools districtwide
