Want to get the most of out of your student conference? Here are six tips to help you build a stronger partnership with your child's school and teacher.

Native Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, languages and histories of our Native students and their families. This month, and every month, we celebrate the important contributions made by our country's first peoples that have shaped our community.

Our graduation rate for the Class of 2018 is 81.1%, up from 78.8% in 2017. Graduation rates have risen for five consecutive years, from 62.3% in 2013.

Did you know... 95% of high school students in Highline believe it is important to get permission before sexual activity with anyone. This fall, we're launching a social norms campaign focused on student safety, healthy relationships and respect.

Shorewood Elementary and CHOICE Academy were recognized with the 2018 School of Distinction Award. The award is given to the top 5% of schools in Washington State that have made sustained improvement in reading and math.

A new year of planning for future needs kicks off Wednesday, October 10. Community members from every high school service area in Highline Public Schools are charged with recommending a long-range capital facilities plan to the school board.

Safety is a community-wide issue. That came out loud and clear at the community safety meetings we conducted last spring in partnership with community leaders.
